I'm having the same problem with Tekh Tonic
The original issue with Mac apps was resolved a while ago. Are you on a Windows PC or a Mac?
Are you connecting to the internet from a work connection or a home connection?
Mac and I guess it would be a work connection (NYU wifi)
The network firewalls on your office connection may be blocking communication with our authentication servers. Could you try connecting through a hotspot or another connection to see if you're able to authenticate the apps?
I can't seem to do that at the moment but is there any other way of getting around this problem?
The only other thing we could try is to whitelist and forward some ports. You would need to contact your IT department to see if they are willing to do this. If so, you can have them try the following:PC: Port 80 or 443, standard HTTP.OSX: Whitelist port 8443 or this whole host: https://pa01.sonyvfactory.com:8443
Alright, thanks so much for responding so quickly!
Glad to help! Hopefully, this resolves the issue for you. Once you've authenticated the apps once, you should be able to use them offline or even behind your office firewall.
Connecting over a hotspot worked! Thank you so much!!
Glad to hear it! If you download any new apps to your computer, you'll need to connect to the hotspot again and run the apps once to authenticate them. Once you do that, you can switch back to your normal work connection and should be able to the apps.
I am having this issue. Geco will not Authenticate, and neither will some of the apps that came with it.
Are you on a work connection or connecting to the web through a proxy?
I'm on my home connection on my Macbook Pro. I have tried both home connection and my iPhone hotspot.
It sounds like you may have some software on your computer that may be blocking the communication to our servers. We've had some other Mac users report similar issues but we were unable to narrow down the exact cause of it.
Do you have another computer to try with the apps?
I have a Windows machine and can try it on there.
It is important that this works on my macbook, though, as I use it for performance.
This is pidjeon. I have made a new account because..
I cannot log into my account on the other computer. I can't recover my password, and I already spent $10 to purchase on this account.
This is becoming a cluster*** Please help.
Same problem here with AirInput. Tells me it needs to be connected to the internet. I was able to login to my account on Leap Motion App Home, so there is a valid connection. Disabled Firewall, Malwarescanner and Anti-Virus-Scanner. Nothing worked.
Hey Lawrence, I apologize for the late response. Did you ever get the issue resolved?
Greg, are you on a home connection or a work connection? Are you able to try testing with a different internet connection and/or another computer to see if you run into the same issue?
I'am on a home connection. Already tried it on another computer. Other apps installed without any problems (but not all). Got the same message in Touchless at first start, but after trying it another time, it worked.
Thanks for following up, Let me check with our DRM partner to see if they're experiencing any issues on their end
editI've just heard back from our partner and they notified me that they were updating a certificate on their end that may have been causing the issue. Could you try relaunching the application to see if you're able to authenticate?
