Form & Function 3D is an educational tool meant to return a sense of space to learning comparative anatomy. Explore and compare the hearts of three different animals:
- Shark (Squalus acanthias)
- Salamander (Necturus maculosus)
- Cat (Felis domestica)

Human anatomy will definitely be included in future builds. I make the models based on CT data to ensure they're as accurate as possible but the process takes quite some time. Check back in the new year for updates!

Amazing
This app really shows what is possible with the leap, and I would really recommend it. I am sure my biology teacher would be envious if she saw it. My only gripe would be that you cannot zoom in, but otherwise it is incredible.

Cool, and definitely interesting.
Having got a LEAP Motion for Christmas, this was one of the first apps I would show people. With a human heart/lungs, I can see this being used in education.

Good for what it does
I'm a senior biology student and I think this is pretty good for comparative anatomy stuff. I would definitely use this as a teaching tool if I ever end up teaching a biology class. It would be nice if there were some way to get a better look at structures inside the heart, but that's not too important. For those wishing they could see a human heart, It's probably worth noting that it is functionally the same as the cat heart already in there (though a crocodile would be cool to see).
