  • It's okay

Like most all the other apps, the difficulty comes from the overly sensitive, not so great at tracking leap motion device itself, but it's okay fun.

  • Poorly written

The application, however well concieved and fun-providing, is very poorly written and needs a lot of optimizations. The latency is very high in comparison to what the Leap itself can do and while playing on a resolution like 1920x1200 i simply get LAGS. Which is a kind of an achievement giving the simplicity of the graphics. I warms up my graphics card more than Portal 2 on the best settings.

Gnometech Inc. started with the release of online world Greenwood Faire in 2010, a medieval setting where you may play board games and authentic musical instruments. This was followed up a year later with Snowy Downs, a snowed-in town surrounded by hills on which you may throw snowballs and go tobogganing.

In the last year Gnometech has been looking to the future of virtual reality, and unique input devices such as the Leap Motion controller. Starting with our first Airspace game Motion Hockey, we look forward to creating many more games for this amazing device.

Gnometech's owner, David Wyand, is a published author with the recent release of Torque 3D Game Development Cookbook (2013 Packt Publishing). He is also the creator or co-creator of many unique Torque 3D demos over the last year showcasing the Leap Motion controller and the Oculus Rift head mounted display.
