The Classic Game, Reinvented

Choose your tool (rock, paper, or scissors) by making the corresponding gesture with your hand. Then, start popping away. Popping the same type of bubble in sequence gives you score multipliers.

Game Play

The aim of the game is simple: Pop the bubbles before they reach the top of the screen to get your score. The game includes 3 standard bubble types (Rock, Paper, and Scissors) as well as a number of “special” bubbles that appear later in the game.

Popping a bubble is only possible if you have selected a corresponding winning tool – Rock pops Scissors, Paper pops Rock and Scissors pop Paper. Select your tool by making the corresponding gesture with your hand within visibility of the Leap Motion Controller. Get score multipliers by popping bubbles of the same type in sequence. Attempting to pop a bubble with the “incorrect” tool pushes the bubble randomly away.

    Looks fun, but the game won't play. The first screen comes up and wants to setup the game, but it doesn't respond. All of my other LeapMotion apps are recognizing the input just fine, but for some reason I don't get anything with this app. Windows 7 X64

    For some reason the game goes directly to a a locked setup screen but the game tries to play in the background. During setup screen, no ability to move the mouse hand even when holding hand over the leap as requested. Not sure if it's because it's in conflict with the Screen Unlock app, but right now the game is unusable unfortunately.

    I played Rosham Bo! first and then got this free from LEAP. I didn't think it would work all that well because the other game didn't, but I am impressed. It's fun but very hard to get three stars and I'm not sure why. It understood if I had a rock paper or scissors on my hand with impressive accuracy and also didn't get glitchy on me either. If I knew this game was like this I would have paid for the app! Excellent and Accurate game

Games4Leap is dedicated to games that are targeted at the Leap Motion Controller.
As an Independent developer, I (www.pierresemaan.com) was inspired by the Leap Motion Controller and started experimenting with gaming and applications for the Leap Motion Controller in gaming. Having enjoyed the experience, I published some tutorials.

During a conversation with Glenn Stephens (www.glennstephens.com.au), we were brain storming what makes a good game, aimed specifically at the Leap Motion Controller. This got me started on creating my own games, the 1st of which is Rock Paper Scissors, an addictive bubble popping game with a Rock/Paper/Scissors twist.

I am based in Sydney Australia, making games the Indie way: a team of one, a lot of conversations with friends and experts, a few ideas, free testing from my daughters, and a whole lot of fun along the way. My goal is to make games that everyone can play, specifically aimed at the Leap Motion Controller.
