Touchless Control For Your Mac

Use your Leap Motion Controller to interact with your Mac.

Touchless for Mac creates a virtual trackpad in the air. Just lift your hand or a finger to navigate your computer. Browse the web, open applications and documents, and control menu items — without touching anything.

Touchless for Mac includes intro, basic, and advanced levels, so you can choose your level of 3D interaction.

Features
  • Click by pointing your finger towards the screen
  • Scroll by swiping multiple fingers in the air — left and right for horizontal scrolling, or up and down for vertical scrolling
  • Zoom in and out by pinching your fingers

  • Maybe I'm Crazy?

I have tried several of the OS controllers and while yes it would be nice if there was a simple right-click function this one seems to work the best for just overall control. I have GameWave, Better Touch Tool and AirInput. Honestly I wish I hadn't paid for all those other apps because this one seems to be the most straight-forward and least buggy.

scrolling is so difficult, can't do anything with 3 fingers (on advanced), when it come to browsing the web -cursor desapears in the window, "touching" as same as a long click, just giving a drop box meny, not a click. cool to check out but impossble to use, awsome idea thou.

  • missing manual?

There is the start of a reference guide included, but I've found other gestures that it supports as well (hand sideways, five fingers out, side to side swiping moves between "Spaces" on a mac), I feel like this could be a good app if I actually knew what it could do. Perhaps if I could remap a few gestures as well, even simple things like the iTunes keyboard controls.

  • Still a lot of work to do

It's not so difficult to move around but there are various problems. You can't right click and scrolling is quite jerky. When you can scroll in 4 directions the indicator start spinning insanely. At last the cursor's position is calibrated to be in the middle of the screen so every time you need to move it you have to place your finger in the middle and the move or it will appear out of the screen. I would probably rather a virtual touchscreen than a virtual trackpad.
